Elvis and Maccartney in sync for gold

KUCHING: Elvis Priestly Clement and Enrique Maccartney Harold combined superbly to clinch the gold in the boys’ 10m platform synchro diving competition in the Malaysia Games (Sukma).

Elvis-Enrique were a class above the rest as they scored 384.72 points at the Pandelela Rinong Aquatic Center in Kuching on Tuesday (Aug 20).

Sabah’s Julfaddli Jali-Mohd Anilrian Abdullah took silver with 282.12 while Federal Territories’ Donald Chen-Choo Jin Wei won bronze after finishing with 271.53.

It was Elvis’ second gold in the Sukma after winning the boys’ 3m springboard individual event a day earlier.
