Badminton: Justin Hoh bags first title of the year with Slovenian Open win


Men's singles shuttler Justin Hoh received a boost after triumphing in the Slovenian Open on Sunday (May 19).

PETALING JAYA: Men's singles shuttler Justin Hoh captured his first title of the year at the lower tier Slovenian Open on Sunday (May 19).

Justin, who last won the Uganda International in February last year, defeated Indonesia's Prahdiska Bagas 19-21, 21-11, 21-15 in the final of the International Series event in Maribor.

The 20-year-old looks to be slowly regaining his best form after returning from a series of injuries over the past year.

Justin, who is currently ranked No. 179 in the world, will next compete in the Austrian Open which starts on Thursday (May 23).
