PETALING JAYA: World champions Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik fell at the last hurdle of the Indonesian Open to Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty of India in Jakarta on Sunday (June 18).

Satwiksairaj-Chirag secured a 21-17, 21-18 win over the top Malaysian men's doubles pair after a 43-minute battle at the Istora Senayan Stadium.

It was Aaron-Wooi Yik’s second final of the year where the world No.3 finished runners-up to Liang Weikeng-Wang Chang of China at the Indian Open in January.

Prior to the Indonesia Open, Aaron-Wooi Yik reached the semi-finals of the Singapore Open last week.
