Long road but passion and perseverance turned Mainaky into successful coach

On to the next quest: Rexy Mainaky will have the next two years to produce an Olympics champion at the 2024 Paris Games.

PETALING JAYA: Rexy Mainaky has achieved legendary status as a player but it has taken a long and arduous journey of 18 years to produce a world champion as a men’s doubles coach.

Thanks to Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik, Rexy has finally achieved that goal in Tokyo two days ago and has immediately challenged himself for the next task – to produce an Olympic Games champion next.
