Tze Yong invited to participate in World Championships in Tokyo

PETALING JAYA: National men's singles shuttler Ng Tze Yong has been invited to participate in his first World Championships.

The world meet is set to take place from August 21-28 in Tokyo and the world No. 42 is expected to accept the invitation.

This could come as a big boost to Tze Yong ahead of his quarter-final match against Singapore's reigning world champion Loh Kean Yew in the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham later on Saturday (Aug 6).
