PETALING JAYA: Tears rolled down the cheeks of doubles shuttler Teoh Mei Xing.
The hope was on Mei Xing and skipper Anna Cheong to deliver the winning point for Malaysia but they went down 14-21, 10-21 to Alexandra Boje-Amalie Magelund in the second doubles and Malaysia eventually lost 2-3 to Denmark in the opening Group C tie.
