Manila experience will serve Mei Xing well in Uber Cup


PETALING JAYA: Teoh Mei Xing (pic, front) hopes to put the experience gained in her debut Asian Championships to good use in the Uber Cup Finals in Bangkok from May 8-15.

The national women’s doubles shuttler and her partner Anna Cheong fought admirably but ended up losing 18-21, 16-21 to China’s world No. 1 and eventual winners Chen Qingchen-Jia Yifan in the second round of the Asian meet in Manila.
