SHAH ALAM: The Malaysian women's team have fallen short in their ambitious bid to reach a maiden final at the Badminton Asia Team Championships after going down tamely 3-0 to South Korea.

Following an encouraging display that saw them emerge as Group Y winners, hopes were high on them to pull off a similar performance at the Setia City Convention Centre here on Saturday (Feb 19).
