SHAH ALAM: Rising star Siti Nurshuhaini Azman showed nerves of steel to inspire Malaysia’s come-from-behind 3-2 win over Japan in the Asia Team Championships opener and put the hosts a step closer to qualify for the Uber Cup Finals.

The 17-year-old rose to the occasion to beat Hina Akechi 21-16, 22-20 in 36 minutes at the Setia City Convention Centre here yesterday.
