Kean Yew-Zii Jia clash set to be mouth-watering affair


Battle royal: A keen fight is on the cards when Malaysia’s All-England champion Lee Zii Jia takes on Singapore’s world champion Loh Kean Yew (inset) in the Badminton Asia Team Championship next week.

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia, led by All-England champion Lee Zii Jia, will have a chance to restore their battered pride against regional rivals Singapore when they clash in the Badminton Asia Team Championships at the Setia City Convention Centre in Shah Alam from Feb 15-20.

As fate would have it, Malaysia have been drawn alongside the Lion City in Group B, which also comprises Japan and Kazakhstan.
