PETALING JAYA: The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) coaching team must get their act together to fast-track their next batch of men’s singles shuttlers soon or risk playing catch up again.

Time certainly won’t wait as the youngsters from other nations appear to be making headway into the elite stage, with the likes of Brian Yang of Canada and Kunlavut Vitidsarn of Thailand among those who have impressed at the ongoing Sudirman Cup in Vantaa, Finland.
