Costly Europe trip keeps our indie shuttlers at home

Costly affair: Iskandar is disappointed that more tournaments in Asia have been called off.

PETALING JAYA: Former internationals Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin and Lim Chi Wing say playing badminton has become a costly affair for independent shuttlers in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

World No. 88 Iskandar has to give up his plans to compete in Europe where badminton action is alive at the moment because he can’t afford to pay his way to play there.
