It stays at 21 – no change in badminton scoring format

PETALING JAYA: The old scoring badminton format will stay.

An attempt to change the present 21-point, best-of-three format (21x3) to the shorter version of 11-point best-of-five (11x5) did not materialise as it did not get the majority vote during the Badminton World Federation (BWF) virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM) yesterday.
