PETALING JAYA: Joy turned to despair for independent singles shuttler Soong Joo Ven just within four hours at the Badminton Association of Malaysia Invitational Championships.

The 25-year-old Joo Ven was over the moon after stunning hot favourite Lee Zii Jia 21-19,11-21,29-27 in a match in the afternoon at the Stadium Juara in Bukit Kiara on Thursday.
