World Championship: Soon Huat-Shevon squander two match points, crash out


PETALING JAYA: National mixed doubles pair Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai Jemie squandered two match points as they crashed to a disappointing second round exit at the World Championships in Basel, Switzerland on Tuesday (Aug 20).

The world No. 13 led 20-18 in the second game, before allowing their opponents Takuro Hoki-Wakana Nagahara of Japan to claw back and win 21-19,25-27,16-21.
