PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s campaign ended in the All-England without a title, but it was not a bad outing at all. Young hotshots Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik emerged as the runners-up in the men’s doubles while mixed doubles pair Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai Jemie reached the semi-finals. It was an improved performance as none of the Malaysian shuttlers went beyond the quarter-finals at last year’s edition in Arena Birmingham. The 109th edition presented badminton fans with plenty of highs, lows and adrenaline-pumping actions with Japan, China and Indonesia jostling for the spoils.
