Goh Jin Wei wins country's first-ever gold at Youth Olympics

PETALING JAYA: Shuttler Goh Jin Wei has become the first ever Malaysian gold medallist at the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) when she clinched the girls' singles title in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The 18-year-old prevailed 16-21, 21-13, 21-19 against China's Wang Ziyi in a pulsating girls' singles final on Friday.
