KUALA LUMPUR: Independent shuttler Liew Daren is relishing a pleasant and rare chance to anchor the team at the Asian Games in Indonesia from Aug 18-Sept 2 as Malaysia’s first singles player.

The 31-year-old has played as the second and third singles in his two Thomas Cup appearances in Wuhan 2012 and New Delhi 2014.
