PETALING JAYA: Tan Wee Gieen-Shia Chun Kang are the only Malaysians left standing in the Orleans Masters after the quarter-finals in France.

Wee Gieen-Chun Kang defeated Nikita Khakimov-Andrey Parakhodin of Russia 21-14, 21-13 in 24 minutes on Friday to set up a meeting against qualifiers Akbar Bintang Cahyono-Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani of Indonesia for a place in the final.

It’s all over for S. Kisona and Goh Yea Ching-Yap Cheng Wen when they crashed out in the women’s singles and doubles quarter-final matches respectively.
