Sukma: Teenager Li Ren breaks two-hour mark in 20,000m walk


SERDANG: Melaka’s walker Tan Li Ren has broken the Malaysia Games (Sukma) record for the 20,000m walk after clocking 1’59:41.45 in the final at the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Stadium here on Tuesday (Aug 18).

The 16-year-old shattered the previous record set by Negri Sembilan’s Yee Zhi Xin in the 2024 edition, who clocked 2’05:47.02.
