PETALING JAYA: Sprinter Danish Iftikhar Mohd Roslee strengthened his credentials for the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games next month after the youngster produced an impressive showing at the World Athletics Under-20 Championships in Eugene, Oregon.

The 19-year-old delivered consistent and strong performances before finishing eighth in the 100m final yesterday at the University of Oregon among a tough field.
