PETALING JAYA: The National Athletes Welfare Foundation (Yakeb) wants to encourage more successful former athletes to remain engaged and offer their support to those in need.
Yakeb chairman Datuk Ahmad Shapawi Ismail revealed that while the majority of their members are former athletes requiring assistance, the foundation seeks to change the perception that Yakeb is solely for those in need.
