Out to create history: Malaysia’s Abdul Latif Romly hopes to become the first long jumper to win three gold medals at the Paris Paraiympics.

PETALING JAYA: Long jumper Abdul Latif Romly is driven to get into the history books as the most successful athlete in the Paralympics.

He believes his success at the World Para Championships in Kobe has arrived at the right time as he attempts for an unprecedented hattrick in the men’s T20 (intellectual disability) at the Paris Paralympics from Aug 28-Sept 8.
