Malaysia participates in Winter Olympic Games for the second time in Beijing

BEIJING: Malaysia made only their second appearance at the Winter Olympic Games on Friday (Feb 4).

Members of the Malaysian team were seen waving to the audience at the opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022.

Comprising two athletes and representatives from the Olympic Council of Malaysia, the seven-member team was among the first few to enter the Bird's Nest National Stadium here on Friday.

This is the second time Malaysia made their appearance at the Winter Olympic Games with Jeffrey Webb and Aruwin Salehhuddin taking part in the alpine skiing event.
