KUALA LUMPUR: National runner Muhaizar Mohd has warmed up perfectly ahead of the Philippines SEA Games by running away with his fifth consecutive Malaysian Open category title at the Standard Chartered KL Marathon.

The 34-year-old was in his element as he finished the 42km race in 2’35:23 to mark his fastest effort in the competition to date at Dataran Merdeka yesterday.
