Khairul Hafiz qualifies for men's 100m semi-finals at Asian Athletics Championships


KUALA LUMPUR: Sprinter Khairul Hafiz Jantan (pix) clocked a season best time of 10.28 seconds to qualify for the men's 100m semi-finals at the Asian Athletics Championships in Bhubaneswar, India. 

The Melaka athlete, who will turn 19 on July 22, clocked the fastest time among 36 sprinters that took part in the six heats at the Kalinga Stadium on Thursday.
