PETALING JAYA: Young phenom Danish Iftikhar Mohd Roslee was imperious from start to finish in the men’s 100m event of the Super Series MA International Meet despite being sandwiched by two seasoned national sprinters.

The 18-year-old shocked the crowd when he burst off the blocks to stay ahead of favourite Jonathan Nyepa (10.66s), Tan Zhi Hang (10.70s) and Khairul Hafiz Jantan (10.74s) to take the gold in style with a time of 10.57s at the Merdeka Stadium.
