Zarif finishes runner-up in Youth Open


PETALING JAYA: National bowler Wan Zarif Ikram came close to taking the Youth Open victory at the Formosa International Bowling Classic, but settled for runners-up spot in Taiwan yesterday.

The 17-year-old Zarif lost to homester Teng Jo-yu 180-223 in the one-game final at the DongDong Bowling Alley in Taoyuan.
