Azimuddin fights on in Poland despite father’s demise

PETALING JAYA: A grieving Azimuddin Syakir Kamaruddin will continue playing at the Nations Cup to fulfil his late father’s wish of seeing him as an accomplished international hockey player.

Well respected coach and former Armed Forces player Kamaruddin Misman, 52, passed away in Kluang, Johor, early yesterday morning due to cancer while his son Azimuddin was involved in his second international tournament in Poland.
