A host of problems for – and from – the organisers

THAILAND have hosted a host of SEA Games.

This is their seventh SEA Games and they held the Asian Games four times, all in Bangkok – in 1966, 1970, 1978, and 1998 – becoming the nation to host it most, even stepping in during crisis to ensure its continuity.
