Speed up approvals for hiring foreign maids too

IT was heartening to read the report “Approvals to hire foreign workers within three days, says Home Minister” (The Star, Jan 10; online at https://bit.ly/3XVLL0y).

In the report, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail was quoted as saying that under the relaxation of foreign workers recruitment plan, “employers will be allowed to hire workers from 15 countries based on the current needs and abilities” ... but they “have to file their application and we will give approvals within three days under this plan.”
