RECENTLY, Jihad Against Inflation Task Force chairman Tan Sri Annuar Musa challenged those who had called for members of the Cabinet to take pay cuts to name a country where such a move had helped to bring down inflation.

I am not here to provide the name of such a country, and there might not be any for all I know, but rather to challenge him to become an innovator when it comes to solving tough issues like the high cost of living instead of disparaging suggestions from the public.
