PATRIOT (Persatuan Patriot Kebangsaan) refers to a recent news report quoting Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Idris Ahmad who told certain quarters to stop insulting Islam as it is a very sensitive topic.
We certainly cannot disagree with the minister. We register our support for his concern that provocations could lead to untoward incidents. His reminder is a timely warning to those who hurt the feelings of Muslims here.
