Consider requests for transfer on case-by-case basis

THERE has been a lot of discussions about the issues faced by contract doctors of late. Kudos to the Malaysian Medical Association and Health Ministry for deliberating these issues in Parliament. There may be a better future for junior contract doctors after all.

However, there are other issues pertaining to doctors in public service that also need to be addressed. One is with regard to the posting of doctors and specialists.
