Hope food outlets don't raise prices


BUDGET 2014 saw the complete removal of the sugar subsidy of 34 sen per kg. I understand the rationale behind this and to me it’s long overdue.

Recently, while having teh tarik kurang manis at a food outlet I asked the owner whether he would raise the price of food and drinks in view of the hike in sugar price.
