LEADING up to the week, many Liverpool fans dreamt of another humiliation for their greatest rivals, Manchester United.

Going through social media, they predicted a scoreline of eight, nine, or 10-nil. You cannot blame them; Liverpool were top of the league last week and considered in excellent form with lots of comeback victories against Fulham and Crystal Palace.
