Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices inched up on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for November delivery went up 1 cent, or 0.01 percent, to settle at 89.44 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for December delivery gained 26 cents, or 0.26 percent, to settle at 100.58 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
