South Korea demands North Korea stop border fortification work immediately

SEOUL, ⁠Sept 30 (Reuters) - ⁠South Korea's ‌Joint Chiefs of Staff ​said on ⁠Wednesday ⁠that North Korea ⁠should ‌stop ⁠its fortification work ​near ‌the inter-Korean ⁠border ​immediately, adding ⁠that such ​activities were increasing tensions ⁠on the Korean Peninsula.
