BAKU, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- Azerbaijan exported gold worth 271.2 million U.S. dollars in January-August period, up 28.7 percent year on year, according to data released Tuesday by the country's Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
Gold export revenue increased by 60.5 million dollars from the same period last year.
Excluding non-monetary gold, Azerbaijan's non-oil exports rose by 17.6 percent year on year to 2.81 billion dollars in the first eight months of 2026.
Among non-oil export products, gold ranked first, followed by copper ores and concentrates at 183.7 million dollars, and tomatoes at 172.2 million dollars.
In August, gold also topped the monthly non-oil export list with 36.8 million dollars, followed by copper ores and concentrates at 31.7 million dollars, and peaches, including nectarines, at 29.4 million dollars.
