ANKARA, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- Seven people were killed and 13 others injured on Sunday in a traffic accident in Türkiye's southeastern province of Gaziantep, according to Turkish media.
The accident occurred at around 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT) in the Nurdagi district, where a passenger minibus collided with a car, according to the private Ihlas News Agency.
Personnel from firefighting, police, medical and other relevant departments were dispatched to the scene.
Preliminary investigation showed that the accident caused seven deaths, including two children, and 13 injuries.
None of the injured are in serious condition, and the accident occurred as a result of the car making an improper overtaking maneuver, said the report, quoting Ilker Eker, the deputy governor of Gaziantep.
