MOSCOW, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- The Bank of Russia on Friday said it would keep its key interest rate unchanged at 14 percent, according to a statement.
The statement said Russia's economy is growing at a moderate pace in the third quarter of 2026. The central bank forecasts that Russia's annual inflation rate will stand between 6 percent and 7 percent in 2026, fall back to 4 percent in 2027, and remain at the target level thereafter.
The statement added that future adjustments to the key rate will be determined based on inflation dynamics, inflation expectations, and assessments of internal and external risks.
The next meeting of the board is scheduled for Oct. 23.
