2nd LD Writethru: Four hurt, seven arrested in London stabbing


LONDON, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- Four men have been injured and seven have been arrested by police after a stabbing in a London high street on Thursday, according to British media.

One of the four injured is in a critical condition in hospital, while the other three are receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries, the Metropolitan Police was quoted as saying.

"At around 2.15 p.m. on Thursday, 10 September, officers were called to reports of an altercation." said a Scotland Yard spokesperson.

A KFC spokesperson was quoted as saying that a "serious incident" had taken place at its Bromley High Street restaurant and an altercation had begun there.

The high street is currently closed both ways from Ringers Road to Ethelbert Road.
