Urgent: Train derails in Southeast England


LONDON, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- A train derailed Thursday afternoon close to Lewes railway station in Southeast England, British Transport Police said on social media.

The incident happened at around 3:54 pm local time. Local fire and rescue authorities have been on site, but no information regarding casualties have been released so far.

Pictures circulating online show passengers standing on the top of the carriages that have flipped on their side.
