At least 14 killed, 78 injured in US attacks on Iran, says Iranian Health Ministry


MOSCOW: At least 14 people were killed and 78 others were injured as a result of the United States'  attacks on the Iranian territory, Iranian Health Ministry spokesman Hossein Kermanpour said on Thursday (July 9).  

 He said while the ceasefire was in place, the US targeted five provinces in Iran with attacks on July 8 and 9, 2026.

"The attacks have so far resulted in 14 martyrs and 78 people being injured.

"Among the wounded, 47 remain in hospital, while the others have been discharged after receiving medical treatment," Kermanpour wrote on social media platform X. — Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti
