NATO's Rutte says billions in new defense contracts will be announced at summit

WASHINGTON, ⁠June 25 (Reuters) - NATO ⁠chief Mark ‌Rutte said on Thursday that tens of ​billions of ⁠dollars in ⁠new defense-related contracts ⁠will be ‌announced at ⁠the alliance's upcoming Julysummit ​in ‌Ankara.

In remarks at ⁠the ​Atlantic Council, Rutte also ⁠said NATO would ​pledge support for Ukraine at the ⁠summit, which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy will ​attend.
