RIO DE JANEIRO, June 14 (Xinhua) -- Two helicopters collided mid-air in Brazil's Rio de Janeiro on Sunday morning, killing at least six people, the city's fire department said.

A spokesperson for the fire department said both aircraft crashed after the collision, with no survivors found on board. One of the helicopters exploded upon hitting the ground, and the fire spread to nearby vehicles, triggering further explosions.
