Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, June 9 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for July delivery decreased by 3.10 U.S. dollars, or 3.4 percent, to settle at 88.20 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for August delivery dropped 2.80 dollars, or 2.97 percent, to settle at 91.45 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
