Urgent: Munich airport suspends flights after fire in control tower


BERLIN, June 7 (Xinhua) -- Flight operations at Germany's Munich airport were suspended on Sunday evening after a fire broke out in the airport's control tower, Bavarian public broadcaster BR reported.

The tower was evacuated and air traffic was halted from 8:33 p.m. local time (1833 GMT), according to the report.
