Zelenskiy in UK for talks with Starmer, Macron and Merz

KYIV, June ⁠7 (Reuters) - President Volodymyr ⁠Zelenskiy said on Sunday ‌he was in Britain for bilateral talks with ​Prime Minister Keir ⁠Starmer, as ⁠well as an E3-plus-Ukraine format ⁠with ‌French President Emmanuel Macron, ⁠Germany Chancellor Friedrich Merz and ​Starmer.

"The ‌main focus is our ⁠defence ​in the war, greater cooperation for the ⁠security of all ​of Europe in the area of air defence, ⁠and our shared view of diplomatic prospects," he wrote on X.

"Europe ​must be ⁠part of the negotiations ​and must ‌be strong."
