MOSCOW, June 2 (Xinhua) -- Russian airlines carried 30.8 million passengers in the first four months of 2026, down 1.2 percent year on year, the Federal Air Transport Agency said on Tuesday.
According to the agency, domestic routes accounted for 22.61 million passengers, while international traffic rose 1.8 percent from a year earlier to 8.19 million passengers in the January-April period.
Russian airports served 60.4 million passengers in the first four months, up 0.54 percent from the same period last year. Meanwhile, international passenger traffic through Russian airports increased 8.13 percent year on year to 15.2 million passengers, according to the agency.
